TAGCA invites you to Makara Sankranthi Celebrations. We have a number of events planned for this evening, including cooking competition, Sankranthi Muggulu, Bhogi Pallu etc.

The items for Sankranthi Celebrations at CPCC are given below. Please participate and make this event a success.
Even if you are not interested in participating, please come by and enjoy the event.
1. Muggulu
Participants are expected to bring Muggu's drawn on paper.
Minimum recommended size is 11X17 or A3 ( 11.7'x16.5").
Should be hand drawn only. No computer drawings allowed!!!
Please write your name on back side of the sheet
Preferably in Sankranthi theme
You can bring your chart directly to the event on Jan 26 th

2. Recipe Competition:
Category 1 - Apetizers
Category 2 - Main course: i. Vegeterian, ii. Non-vegeterian
Category 3 - Deserts
- Randomly choosen judges will vote at the venue to decide the winner in each category
- There should be a sufficient food for minimum of 15 judges to sample
- Participants who needs special things for presentation, should bring their own
- Send your intent of participation to activities@tagca. org
3. Costume presentation:
- We request participants to come in traditional dresses
- On the location well dressed participants will be selected
- The criteria for selection is the most traditional appeal J
4. Bhogipallu:
- All children are welcome
- Parents are welcome to bring anything special if needed for this.
